Brisbane buses

Some of the other Daily Photo sites have been posting pictures of their buses. This is my turn to show our buses.

This was taken next to George Street square. If the bus turned right, it would go into the underground bus terminal at the bottom of the Myre Center.

From Brisbane City Daily Photo - The ticket system is linked between buses, trains and ferries. The cost is based on how many zones you travel in. 1 zone is $2.10 for an Adult or $4.20 all day.

Here is the address for the costs - http://www.translink.com.au/qt/TransLin.nsf/index/TransLinkNewSystemFaresZones

From Brisbane City Daily Photo - The address was cut off. If you go to http://www.translink.com.au/ then click on Tickets, fares and zones then click on Fares and zones it should work.

Just noticed the bus door is to the left...is that because your roads run opposite to how the US does it? Our roads run parallel to the US roads...so you drive to the right side of the road instead of the left =)

From Brisbane Daily Photo - In Australia we drive on the left hand side of the road (which is opposite to the US)

I have updated my post with pictures to the cars on the left.
